Google Adds More Google Now Cards

As if the latest YouTube and Keep updates weren't enough, Google has announced yet another application update, this time to Google Now.  Google shared the information in a blog post  this evening.  The new version features several new cards--Google lists car rentals, concert tickets, improved public transit, and NCAA football score cards as some of the additions.  Perhaps the most exciting news, though, is the addition of a "remind me" panel to searches involving movies or music.  I could easily see myself setting a reminder about the new Justin Bieber song or Tyler Perry film...  But seriously, the feature looks pretty awesome, as does the update in general.  The update should start rolling out today, but as always, I'll post a link to the apk when it's up.

Google Keep Receives Major Update

Today Google has released a substantial update to its note-taking application, Keep.  The update bumps Keep to version 2.0.35 and adds some useful features.  The application now features location or time based reminders, easier image uploading, and a swipe-to-reveal sidebar that most Google applications are featuring these days.  The sidebar allows for a quick view of all notes and easier switching between multiple accounts.  The app will be rolling out slowly starting today, but if you can't wait, Android Police has posted a download.
